Susan D. McMahon, Ph.D., provided expertise and guidance for the development and authorship of Kid Support's outcomes evaluation plan, including the pre- and post-surveys for participating children, the pre- and post-surveys for parents, and a facilitators' packet for administering the surveys. An Assistant Professor at DePaul University, Chicago, IL, Susan's teaching includes graduate courses in Program Evaluation, and undergraduate courses in Behavior Problems in Children, and Community Psychology.

Susan is a specialist in program evaluation related to school-based interventions. Her research projects include serving as Director of the School-Based Violence Prevention Project (DePaul University), and Director of the School-Based Reading Improvement Project (DePaul University).

Susan's publications include such articles as "Stress and Coping in Smoking Cessation: A Longitudinal Examination" (Anxiety, Stress, and Coping: An International Journal, 11, 327-343) and "Worksite Interventions: A Methodological Exploration Promoting Behavior Change" (Journal of Primary Prevention, 22 (2), 103-119).

Susan received her B.S. in psychology from the University of Iowa, and earned her Ph.D. in clinical community psychology from DePaul University.
