Mission

Kid Support is a nonprofit, charitable organization dedicated to helping young people cope when a parent or other family member has cancer, through the establishment of adult-led peer support groups that reduce the stress of cancer in the family and promote family communication about cancer.

Kid Support believes that all children facing the crisis of parental cancer, regardless of their geographical location or economic status, should have an opportunity to express their feelings and share experiences, receive age-appropriate information about cancer, and learn valuable coping skills.
